  You are not alone if you are facing tough times in Piscataquis County. If you need assistance, there may be programs and services available to you Penquis’ mission is to assist individuals and families in preventing, reducing or eliminating poverty in their lives. Through collaboration and regional partnerships, Penquis addresses issues such as economic and social needs, unemployment and underemployment. One such collaborative effort is the Piscataquis Resource Exchange, a network of service providers who meet monthly to share information regarding new and existing programs. The goal is to increase awareness and use of community resources.
